Installation and Recording Advice
Check the NVR supports the camera resolution, compression format and required event functions. Protect outdoor cable connections with suitable weatherproof fittings. Position the camera for a clear view of faces and access routes, then test recording and alerts in daylight and at night.
For remote access, configure the network securely and use a unique password. Storage duration depends on image settings, recording schedule and drive capacity. Contact Nepean Micro Computers for help matching a recorder or mounting accessory.
Specifications checked against Hikvision DS-2CD2386G2-I(U) documentation. IU2 is the listing’s 2.8mm product code; confirm the hardware revision for firmware and accessory matching.
